The Valenzuelas arrived in Naples, Italy in 1978. From a small group of believers in Casoria, a town of 100,000 people, they started a church which is now 400-500 members. Through aggressive evangelistic campaigns and the work of the Holy Spirit, it continues to grow and provide many services to the community. They have also expanded the church's ministry to other communities and in 1998 started a second church in the neighboring town of Arzano. This church has also continued to grow, with pastors trained in the Casoria church. Short term ministry teams from Delta have gone from Portland several years to assist with evangelistic campaigns, including members from Burlingame. Doug and Dee and the Casoria church have also been deeply involved in the ministry of the Old Mill Camp.
